hamas Alicia Wallace is refuting the prime minister’s statement that opposition toward the Protection Against Violence Bill 2023, came at the last hour.

She says Equality Bahamas participated often and provided feedback during consultations.

Wallace says it’s actually the consultations themselves being last-minute, as well as no access to the most recent drafts of bills that cause the issue.
